Watford have this afternoon signed Manchester United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak on loan for the rest of the season.

The 29 year old Polish international joins on an emergency loan and will stay at Vicarage Road until the end of the current campaign.

Former West Brom goalkeeper Kuszczak has spent the past five and ahead years at Old Trafford having arrived from The Hawthorns where he impressed hugely.

Kuszczak is now behind David de Gea, Anders Lindegaard and Ben Amos now for the Res Devils and has already announced his interiors to leave Manchester when his contract runs out at the end of the season.

The big Pole has also turned out for German Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin before coming to these shores and will wear the number 35 jersey at Vicarage Road.

Welcome to Watford, Tomasz.

A full profile of Kuszczak will be up later this afternoon.
