Watford have announced that they will release Rene Gilmartin, Chez Isaac, Michael Bryan and Tom James at the end of their contracts.

The quartet will all leave on June 30 when their contracts at Vicarage Road expire.

Meanwhile, Martin Taylor and Stephen McGinn have both been offered new terms.

Winger Bryan, 22, has been out on loan at Bradford City for the first half of the season but failed to impress.

Bryan, who joined on a free transfer from QPR, made 12 appearances for the Goldenboys, with five of those as starts.

Irish goalkeeper Gilmartin, 24, has also been out on loan with both Yeovil and Crawley Town despite making his league debut for the ‘Orns this season.

Midfielder Chez Isaac, 19, never made a senior appearance for the ‘Orns and despite getting regular football on loan with Blue Square Premier with Tamworth.

Finally, left-back Tom James, plucked from the obscurity of the non-leagues has failed to make the grade having joined from Stafford Town.

James did make one F.A Cup substitute appearance against Bradford.

Good luck in the future lads.
