The club have today confirmed the signing of experienced Italian midfielder Gianni Munari.
Munari, who has played in Seria A for a number of years, has signed a one-year loan deal with the club.
The 31-year-old will join the club immediately, but his transfer will be subject to international clearance.
Munari’s previous clubs include hometown team Sassuolo, Palermo, Verona, Lecce, Fiorentina and Sampdoria. Watford will be the midfielder’s first experience of English football.
He brings a wealth of experience to the Hornets` squad, having made over 100 appearances in Serie A, with three promotions from Serie B to the top flight to his name.
Gianni Munari will wear squad number 3 for the 2014/15 season.
