FOLLOWING THE disappointment of the 2-1 defeat by Hull City on Saturday, Watford play host to Paul Lambert’s high-flying Canaries on Tuesday evening.
It’s an entirely different proposition for the Hornet’s who beat last year’s League One champions at Carrow Road in August to open the 2010/11 English football calender.
Martin Taylor on the run-in
‘From day one of this season we knew what we were about and it’s important to remember that we’ve ended up proving a lot of people wrong.
‘We’ve got a lot of quality in the squad and our players have gained a lot of experience this season and I think we’ve done really well up until now – we definitely don’t want to let the season fizzle out.’

Watford Team News:
Malky Mackay is only without long-term absentee, Stephen McGinn meaning that the gaffer may well name the same XI beaten by Hull on Saturday.
There may be a temptation to re-introduce Matty Whichelow or Marvin Sordell at the expense of Will Buckley or Andy Weimann.

Player to watch: Andy Weimann
Saturday was my first chance to see Weimann and I was impressed.
The Austrian youngster works hard, always chases the ball down and makes life hard for dithering defenders. Pacey and diligent he looks dangerous.
Norwich City Team News:
Winger Wes Hoolahan is the Canaries only doubt for Tuesday evening though the Irishman will be assessed closer to the time.

The Norwich skipper has an impressive 21 league and cup goals for his side this season meaning he’s hot on SuperDan’s tail for the Golden Boot.
Powerful and with no little pace, the determined forward is in his second season with the East Anglian outfit having signed from Shrewsbury last season for a paltry fee.
43 goals in 70-odd appearances says good business.

The optimist in me says draw. We beat them earlier in the season but Lambert’s men have well and truly found their feet since then. It should be a good game and if we play well under lights against a better side, I can see a draw.
They are a wounded animal on the re-bound after the 3-0 Swansea defeat though…
Watford: 2/1 (Victor Chandler)
