After impressing during his initial month’s loan spell with Non-league side Oxford City, Jonathan North has extended his loan deal by a further month.

The Southern League outfit lost 2-0 at the weekend, but Norh earned rave reviews as he pulled of ‘Five Premiership-class saves’.

Playing alongside North was former Hornet’s ultility man, David Perpetiuni. In a fall from grace as spectacular as that of Paolo Vernazza or Scott Fitzgerald, the now 30 year-old is pitching up with North at Oxford City.

In other loan news, Bournemouth gaffer Eddie Howe has confirmed that he would like to take Jordan Parkes and Billy Gibson on loan if the club’s transfer embargo is lifted.

Gibson has just returned from a successful loan spell with North London outfit Wealdstone whilst Parkes has been without first-team football since playing against Ipswich in September 2008 for the first team.
