Yesterday Watford confirmed the signing of AC Milan forward M’Baye Niang and the loan departure of Obbi Oulare.

Beginning with Niang, we had been linked with a move for the 22 year old and reports on Wednesday suggested that a deal was done if not nigh on done, and Thursday saw that deal go through.

The player comes in initially on a loan deal until the end of the 2016/17 campaign and we have a permanent clause built into that loan that will kick in should we choose over the summer.

The former French Under 21 international can operate on both wings or through the centre so he brings head coach Walter Mazzarri options moving forward.

We’ve handed him the No 21 shirt for the remainder of this season.

In outgoing news, Oulare heads out to Dutch outfit Willem II on a loan spell untl the end of the season also. He moves to the Eredivisie having spent the first half of the year out on loan with Belgium side Zulte Waregem.
