Thankfully Aidy Boothroyd is using his noggin’ for once. The Hornets supremo has revealed that he will wait until the end of the season before starting negotations with the hapless/hopeless Jordan Stewart.

Now 26, Stewart joined Watford 3 years ago from Leicester City for a fee of 125,000 mis-spent pounds. Earlier in the season Stewart opened talks with the gaffer, but after two offers were knocked back, Boothroyd gave up.

That was the last we heard – until now. ‘This is Hertfordshire’ has today revealed the Brummie will re-start talks when his contract nears expiry at the end of the season:

‘We brought it up in the early part of the season, discussed it at some length again and we’ve come to an agreement that we don’t mention it until the end of the season. Let’s get promoted and then we’ll have a chat. That way it leaves his options open and gives us some leeway.’

Hopefully, Watford will win promotion, Mat Sadler will have the left back slot all to himself and Stewart will be packed off to L.A Galaxy [the club he revealed he wanted to join earlier this campaign.]

And, if you ask me, ‘Jordinho’s’ number one fan, let he go to Mickey Mouse land – he’ll fit right in!
