Middlesbrough have within the last hour confirmed the signing of former Watford midfielder Adlene Guedioura.

With a fee agreed with Hull City for the player, Middlesbrough came in for reportedly the same undisclosed fee and the player made his choice that the Riverside Stadium would be his destination and the deal has rumbled on for a fair few hours so far today.

It is however now confirmed with Middlesbrough stating that he has now put pen to paper on a two and a half year deal at the club.

He leaves us having come in from Crystal Palace back in 2015 initially on loan before that deal then became permanent.

Having arrived in England back in 2010 he has notched up over 170 appearances in total for former clubs which also include Wolverhampton Wanderers and Nottingham Forest.
