Young striker Gavin Massey led the way this weekend for the Hornet’s loanees with a brace for Yeovil Town.

The 18 year-old scored his first goals in professional football for the Glovers who drew 2-2 at Colchester United.

Massey’s goals helped halt a run of four straight defeats for Terry Skiverton’s side.

Josh Walker’s Stevenage weren’t in action but face a tough tie with Charlton Athletic next Saturday. Currently in charge at the Valley is ex-Hornet, Chris Powell.

Walker has so far made six appearances back at Broadhall way scoring once for Graham Westley’s side.

Twenty-one year old Northern Irish winger Michael Bryan has failed to feature for Bradford City since the end of August. Bryan has made two starts and a sub appearance for the Yorkshire strugglers.

Fellow attacking midfielder Matty Whichelow has feature twice for League One rivals Exeter City since signing on-loan for a month. The Grecians have lost both of those games as they continue to struggle.

Adam Thompson, currently on-loan with Brentford continues to impress for the Londoners having made seven appearances for Uwe Rosler’s side.

Thompson featured on Tuesday night as the Bees crushed much-fancied Charlton 3-0 live on Sky in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

Finally, in the Blue Square South, Chez Isaac has made three appearances for Boreham Wood who won 3-1 against Dartford on Saturday.Vital Watford on: facebook
