Former Hornet Marlon King has today been handed an 18month jail sentence for ABH and Sexual Harrassment of an unamed female.

Whilst on-loan at Hull City last season the former Watford, Gillingham and Barnet forward hit the headlines for the assualt of the unamed female in London club, Revue.

What was meant to be a week-long trial turned out to be just a few days and depite pleading not guilty, King will now spend 18months inside. It’s hardly King’s first brush with the law after spending time inside for his part in the robbery of a Mercedes back in 2002, whilst he has also been to court seven times previously.

King will be out in April 2011 – perhaps Aidy Boothroyd will take a punt on the former Jamaican cap again?!

Meanwhile, my Marlon King match-worn sock is winging it’s way towards Ebay very rapidly!
