The referee for Watford’s final clash in the race for the title tomorrow is Lee Probert.

Believe it or not, Probert has been allowed to referee another Watford game this season, after the previous game saw him wrongly dismiss Gabrielle Angella in the opening thrity seconds, in the away clash to fellow title contenders, Bournemouth, at the end of this January, with Jokanovic’s side going on to lose the game by two goals to nil, including a penalty awarded by Probert which was converted.

The man from Wiltshire has only been in charge of fifteen games this season, his last four coming from the Premier League, where in two of them he shown the red card.

There hasn’t been a game this year where Probert has failed to book a player, and has shown four red cards overall this season, including Watford’s one and the two Premier League encounters.

His most recent game was this Tuesday, as underdogs Hull defeated Liverpool on their home soil 1-0 in the Premier League tie.

This is Probert’s first game to take the reins of at Vicarage Road since August 2008, of the 08-09 season, as Aidy Boothroyd’s Hornets defeated Ipswich 2-1.
