Only two Hornets were in loan action this weekend – find out how they got on
The snow played havoc with the Football League this weekend with only two Hornets’ players getting game time out on-loan.
Lee Hodson played 45 minutes for Brentford as a substitute, replacing Shaleum Logan at half-time of Brentford’s 2-1 defeat by Tranmere Rovers.
The Bees went down at home to the league leaders thanks to goal from Andy Robinson and Adam McGurk.
Harlee Dean got Brentford’s goal eight minutes after Robinson opened the scoring from the penalty spot.
Elsewhere in League One, Stephen McGinn was also in action as a substitute, coming on for forward Tom Bradshaw as Shrewsbury Town went down 2-0 at Swindon.
Goals from Chris Martin and Andy Williams did for Graham Turner’s side at the County Ground.
Fixtures for Britt Assombalonga’s Southend United, Steve Beleck’s Stevenage, Aaron Tumwa’s Wealdstone and Matty Bevan’s Chesham United were all called off due to the weather.
