Check up on the progress of those away from the Vic’ on-loan

It was a poor weekend for the players out on-loan from Watford, with only Lee Hodson on the winning side.

Brentford were 3-2 victors over a Portsmouth side who have been resurgent of late, with the Bees bagging a late winner.

Hodson came on as a substitute for midfielder Sam Saunders with 26 minutes of the Griffin Park clash remaining.

Elsewhere in League One, midfielder Stephen McGinn played 90 minutes for Shrewsbury Town as they lost 3-0 at home to Bournemouth.

In the npower Championship, Craig Forsyth played 90 minutes for Derby County as they lost 2-0 at Blackburn Rovers.

Finally, in League Two Britt Assombalonga’s Southend United drew 0-0 with Bristol Rovers.

Chris Iwelumo (Oldham Athletic), Steve Leo Beleck (Stevenage) and Piero Mingoia (Boreham Wood) all failed to feature for their respective sides.
