Find out how those out on-loan did this weekend

IT WAS a far from vintage weekend for the band of Hornets currently plying their trade up-and-down the country, only Bradford City debutant Craig Forsyth tasting victory.

Forsyth, signed on Friday afternoon on a two-month loan deal, started for Phil Parkinson`s side who ran out 3-1 winners at home to Cheltenham Town.

Dean Yates` side went ahead with a 29th minute penalty from Marlon Pack Nakhi Wells levelled for the Bantams with a 45th minute spot-kick of his own.

Wells then put Bradford ahead on 68 before defender James Meredith completed the job with an 83rd minute stunner.

Forsyth played 61 minutes before being withdrawn to be replaced by Zavon Hines.

Elsewhere in League Two, Britt Assombalonga and Southend United drew a rare blank, going down 1-0 to Morecambe.

An 88th minute effort from the in-form Jack Redshaw did the damage for Jim Bentley`s side.

Accrington Stanley duo Piero Mingoia & Matty Whichelow had an afternoon to forget at Oxford United trounced Stanley 5-0.

Mingoia played the entire game whilst Whichelow picked splinters from his backside once again.

Four from former Luton Town hitman Tom Craddock put the game out of reach before Alfie Potter rounded off the win with his side`s fifth of the afternoon.

In League One, Joe Garner and Carlisle United were beaten once more, the 24 year-old playing the full 90 minutes as the Cumbrians succumbed to a 2-0 defeat the hands of Colchester United.

Goals from Craig Eastmond and Jabo Ibehere secured the win for Joe Dunne`s men.

Finally, Ross Jenkins of Plymouth Argyle and Dale Bennett of Wimbledon missed out once more, both men currently injured.
