5ft9 pocket rocket Kim Do Heon is hopeful of securing a move to Watford after joining the Hornets on trial last week, according to various sources.

The South Korean international midfield playmaker, who is also being tracked by West Brom and Derby, had been at Vicarage Road training with Watford with a view to move and Aidy Boothroyd is believed to be impressed with what he saw in the 25 year old`s technical ability.

Though any move for Kim will be on hold after he joined up with the South Korean national squad ahead of a friendly match with Chile in Seoul on Wednesday night.

The player is still hopeful of a move though and insisted “?Watford is another possibility that has materialized. This is my first chance to play overseas so I think I can get more experience playing in the Championship and not the Premier League”.

Do Heon currently plays for Korean K-League outfit Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma and has 32 international caps to his name despite having to scrap it out for the shirt with Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung (pictured above).
