Not expected to be part of Marco Silva first team plans in the immediate future, time will tell if he is at all, Watford have confirmed Dennon Lewis has left for with loan at Crawley.

Lewis, who forms part of the Watford U23 side, will link up with his old boss Harry Kewell at Crawley. Of course, the former Hornets coach was appointed at the League Two club during the summer.

Kewell told the Official Crawley Website: ‘Dennon is someone who I know from my time at Watford and I`m looking forward to working with him again. He`s got good pace and an eye for goal and is another quality addition to the squad – he gives me another option at my disposal.’

Having joined the club as an academy player as part of the U11 side, Lewis has worked his way through the ranks at Vicarage Road to the point where he signed a first professional contract with the Hornets in 2015.

This loan, which follows up a spell at Woking last season when Lewis, 20, scored four goals in 29 appearances, is scheduled to run until December 31st.
