Leeds United will be unable to call upon Richard Cresswell and Stephen Crainey for the Championship play-off final against the Golden Boys.

Both players will be unable to play as they were sent off in the second leg of the play-off semi-final defeat of Preston North End at Deeepdale on Monday. Former Preston forward Cresswell and full-back Crainey were dismissed for two bookable offences and will serve one-match bans meaning they are unable to play in next Sunday?s Championship play-off final at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.

The duo will miss out on arguably the most important match off their careers as it has been confirmed by the Football League that Leeds United have no right of appeal.
