There might be a new boss at Vicarage Road but reported interest in Juventus’ Mario Lemina has again been claimed, in fact the midfielder himself has commented about being ‘flattered’ by Watford links.

Lemina has seen his first team football limited since he joined Juventus from Marseille, he did come on in the Champions League final defeat against Real Madrid on Saturday though.

Previously linked with Watford and Arsenal, Valencia and Lyon have also been credited with an interest in signing him this summer, Lemina doesn’t have a preference on where he does go, should he leave Juventus this summer.

He said he’s happy enough in Turin but will go where he’s most wanted, which could be the Premier League.

Lemina told Foot Mercato, via the Evening Standard: ‘I am flattered by the interest of Arsenal and Watford. I am playing for a big club now but I am happy about the interest of other clubs. I do not have a preference for any league. My future depends on who really wants me.’

Due to his previous at Marseille, Lemina, 23, who has a contract at Juventus until 2020, appears to rule out a switch to Lyon, leaving Watford battling with Arsenal and Valencia it seems?

He added: ‘I don`t think I`ll be moving to Lyon. I am from Marseille and I am not interested in joining them. I don`t think I have a chance to return to Marseille.’

One to keep an eye on then, assuming Marco Silva has as much interest in Lemina as previous occupants of the Watford hot seat reportedly did?
