Eagles winger is believed to be Hornets target…

Speculation is growing that Crystal Palace winger Jobi McAnuff may be the next player to move to Watford.

Following the arrivals of Matt Jackson and Mart Poom, it is believed Aidy Boothroyd`s attention has turned to Jamaican cap McAnuff. Since taking over as Watford boss in March 2005, Boothroyd has trailed the progress of the winger and is a known admirer of his talents on the right flank.

McAnuff is believed to be in the last year of his contract at Crystal Palace and so a cut-price bid of between £500,000 and £1.5 million, as speculated, may be enough to prise him away from Selhurst Park. With Paul Ifill also at the club, boss Peter Taylor may well be inclined to take the money?
