Alex Jakubiak has returned to Watford this week following the expiry of his loan deal with Fleetwood Town but Adalberto Penaranda has headed out to Malaga.

Dealing with Jakubiak first, he went for what was supposed to be a season long loan out at Highbury with Fleetwood Town under Uwe Rosler, but the 20 year old striker has not made a single League One start for the club and has only made two starting appearances for them, with three substitute showings.

He did however return one goal, but his last appearance was September 27.

With the deal still to run, Watford have taken the chance to use the break clause in the deal to expire it and no doubt have hopes of finding a better destination for him now in the second half of the year.

Penaranda heads out to La Liga’s Malaga on a half season loan and the deal does include the option to extend his time away from Vicarage Road should both clubs agree over the summer.

He has therefore come back from Udinese and Italy to experience life in Spain.
