Vital Watford readers voted Brazil hard nut Iriney their ‘Man-of-the-Match’ during the 2-0 triumph over Bristol City.

The veteran enforcer impressed on his return to the side with his usual array of ball retention, bravery and the odd foul to boot, scooping 43 per cent of Vital readers’ votes.

Coming in second place to the Hornets’ number 23 was centre-half Gabriele Angella who put in a strong showing despite being moved to the right-hand side of the back.

The Italian took 30 per cent of your vote to land second place with ease.

Rounding off the top three with 13 percent of the vote was Fitz Hall, making his second start since re-signing for the Golden Boys at the beginning of January.
