Ipswich Town boss Roy Keane was not best pleased as he saw his side crash for the thirteenth consecutive league game this season.

Speaking to the assembled press afternoons, Keane pulled no punches in his post-match press conference:

“Watford rode their luck and we were let down by bad finishing and good goalkeeping.

“We’re not scoring enough goals.

“I can sit here and make excuses but we’ve got to take our chances.

“Tonight we didn’t but I’ve got no problem with my team’s performance, in terms of their spirit and work-rate.

“Thirteen games without a win is a bad run.

“We can’t get away from that and there’s no hiding place.

“I can’t fault my players and back them 100 per cent, but to go that many games without a victory is unacceptable.’

We will have more fallout from the game once big Malky’s had his say.
