Striker Matej Vydra capped off an excellent week, scoring his first two international goals for the Czech Republic this afternoon.

The Czech Republic ran out 3-0 winners in Armenia with Vydra grabbing the first two to open his senior international account.

Winning his seventh full cap for the Czech Republic, Vydra nodded Michael Bilek’s side ahead after 47 minutes – his first header of the season.

The 20 year-old added a second with nine minutes to go; finishing with typical aplomb from the edge of the area.

Last night Nathaniel Chalobah started in England U21’s 4-0 win over Austria.

The midfielder was withdrawn after 45 minutes.
