Nathaniel Chalobah made his England U21`s debut as Stuart Pearce`s Three Lions brushed aside their Northern Irish counterparts.
Fellow Hornet`s Lee Hodson and Adam Thompson both featured for Northern Ireland in a comfortable 2-0 win for England – Connor Wickham and Benik Afobe getting the goals.
Chalobah, 17, was named as a substitute for England and entered the fray in the 76th minute, replacing England skipper Jordan Henderson.
Hodson and Thompson both started the match for Steve Robinson`s side, with Hodson getting 45 minutes as he was replaced by Conor McLaughlin at half-time.
Thompson was replaced with 12 minutes remaining, Rangers` defender Christopher Hegarty coming on for the 20 year-old centre-half.
Cristian Battocchio will look to feature for Italy`s U20`s this afternoon against Switzerland, whilst Matej Vydra will hope to win his fifth full Czech Republic cap against Slovakia.
