Rock steady Malky Mackay, reckons he will “bring an honesty and an integrity to Watford” when (not IF) his apppointment into the Hornets managerial hot seat is announced later today.

Mackay, who has tapped straight into the bad taste left in the mouths of most fans following the departure of disloyal Brendan Who, insists he “can bring a fresh approach” to Vicarage Road.

And we all thought he was just about braveheart spirit and chest thumping pride playing for the shirt.

Malky, who says he`s “been working towards [a managers job] for the last six years” added “I know how the players tick?I know the club inside out and I`ve been in the Championship for 10 years now and know everything about it”.

So that`s 2 fingers up to those that question his experience then.
