Odion Ighalo’s agent has confirmed that although it will be a few weeks before his client knows what the future holds, there are offers in for the striker.

With Ighalo’s future often being open to speculation in the last couple of months, talk of interest from the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and even Atletico Madrid have filled paper column inches in recent weeks, he agent, Atta Aneke has admitted that at the moment they are just waiting to hear what Watford are actually thinking themselves.

Having scored 15 goals in 37 Premier League games last season as we finished 13th in the league, Watford maintain that no formal offers for the player have come in, but Aneke says ‘there are offers’ so I can only presume that they are offers of interest made to him, should Watford be open to doing a deal maybe?

Nigerian press carry the following, where he explains that in the next few weeks meetings will be held with the club and their representatives to thrash out what the future holds for the player.

‘The thing is we`re not actually sure ourselves because it all depends on what Watford are willing to do. I`ll probably have more information in a few weeks, but for now nothing has really been decided but there are offers and we will weigh the options.’
