Watford have tonight rejected a £2.5m offer from Premier League outfit West Brom for their top-scorer Danny Graham.

The Gateshead-born goal-getter had been subject of an offer equal to QPR’s earlier in the day, but according to The Watford Observer the club have quickly turned down the offer.

Queens Park Rangers are believed to have previously offered the same amount with the same response from the club.

Also believed to be in the hunt for the Championship’s top-scorer and PFA Fans Player of the Season are Ipswich Town and hometown club, Newcastle United.

The chase is hotting up now for SuperDan, but so far so good. The club are clearly sticking to their guns on this one and have made it very obvious that the Geordie forward won’t be leaving on anyone’s terms except their own.

Good on ’em!
