Northern Ireland began their international season with a thrilling 3-3 draw against Finland in Belfast tonight with Lee Hodson playing 84 minutes of the clash.

The Hornet’s right-back was selected at right-back by Michael O’Neill in a strong Northern Irish XI which included the likes of Chris Brunt, Kyle Lafferty and Steven Davis.

The hosts took the lead through Newcastle United youngster Shane Ferguson before doubling up through Lafferty inside 20 minutes.

The Finns then went 3-2 up before an 84th minute leveller from the penalty spot from Martin Paterson.

Hodson was substituted in the 84th minute, replaced by Oliver Norwood.

Congratulations on another cap Lee!
