Have Hornets become predictable?

Twas just 3 games ago that Peterborough gaffer, Jim Gannon, reckoned he could “see why Watford concede goals” and promptly sent his Posh boys out to “exploit it” in alarming fashion to earn their first away of the season at Vicarage Road.

Now, after the 3-1 beat in Cardiff, Bluebirds boss, Dave Jones, has admitted that his <i>”spies” had identified a weakness in Malky Mackay`s troops once again – suggesting they “could capitalise on the way Watford set up” with the cracking move that led to Ross McCormack`s all important first goal.

There`s probably little doubt too that Cardiff winger Chris Burke`s constant attempts to get Doyley on his wrong foot weren`t a co-incidence either. Nor would the way that Derby swamped the midfield to stop Lansbury playing at Pride Park?

Damn those spy plans flying over London Colney or the odd scout sat behind a newspaper with holes in at the back of the East Stand – or a DVD of our games even!

?So, ahead of the big crunch 6, hell no, 12-pointer at Hillsborough tonight, and with Sheffield Wednesday boss, Alan Irvine, admitting he`s “seen quite a bit of Watford recently“, VitalWatford ask:

Is the Hornets gameplan becoming all a bit too predictable???

DrWatford used to think that if Cleverley didn`t play then the Hornets lost their sting. If the oppo got up Helguson`s nose then the frontline become ineffective?

It was always something that got levelled at Aidy Boothroyd`s Watford that if Plan A did not work then there was no Plan B, C, or even Z – as we found out to our peril in THAT game against West Brom.

But Malky Mackay reckons we are not reliant on the loan stars and the spirit is greater than the sum of it`s parts (or some other management speak nonsense) yet what do you think?
