Watford have this morning announced the first-team shirts will be sponsored by ‘The Happy Egg Company’ next season.

A one-year agreement has been struck between the two parties and the Happy Egg Company logo will adorn Watford’s home and away strips next season.

The Happy Egg Company are a local company, based in Hertfordshire, and the largest producer of free-range eggs in the country.

Watford’s new 2012/13 replica kits will feature a QR code on the sponsor’s logo, which, once scanned by a smartphone, will take you to The Happy Egg Companies website.

Pioneering, if not slightly odd.
