Braveheart Watford boss Malky Mackay may well have dubbed ‘Golden` Graham a “complete pain in the neck” (admittedly for central defenders) but ol` Danny boy reckons he`ll prove to be a bargain buy now he`s off and running.

The Hornets thought they`d gone shopping in the bargain bins of the footballing basement when they snapped up the young striker from Carisle only for a Football League tribunal to defy logic and order the Vicarage Road moneymen to cough up over £200K from the already dry club coffers.

But Golden Graham, who reckoned it was “a bit special” to open his account on his debut at home to Donnie, told the press “I would be over the moon with 15 goals+ this season? That would make me a bargain wouldn`t it?”

Yes it would Danny. It would indeed.
And the good news is ‘Golden` Graham is up for it even more now insisting “Now I`m already off the mark my confidence is sky high”.

We are starting to get the feeling thatCEO Julian Winter was right when he said that we`d got “good value for money” even after the tribunal ruled on the fee for the striker.
