Fulham have moved on from John Joe O`Toole but are still keen to add a Hornet to the band of merry men at Craven Cottage.

Oh yes, whilst rumours surrounding Irish U21 O`Toole appear to be yesterday`s news, Hodgson is reportedly lining up a £1.5m move for Watford`s Lee Williamson instead, according to the Mirror.

Williamson was once dubbed as “one of the best midfielders in the Championship” by former boss Boothroyd`s rampant motivation machine but has since been in and out of the team under Brendan Rodgers.

Yep, he`s got a shot on him, does have a bit of a reputation for putting over a good set-piece and likes a bit of niggle but £1.5m for a journeyman player seems a big gamble.

In all fairness, here at VitalWatford we`d question if Willo was actually ‘Premiership quality` or the get up and at em grafter that the Cottagers would desire to fill the boots of Jimmy Bullard?

Still, would be a great deal for the club if they can secure that kind of cash.
