Former Watford goalkeeper David James will become a MBE after being named on the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.

The 41 year-old goalkeeper, who made his professional debut as a Hornet, was named today among those who will be honoured as part of the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.

James left Bristol City at the end of the 2011/12 season but his achievements off the field have earned him the title.

Congratulations David!
