Former Watford pair Ashley Young and Tom Cleverley won their first Premier League title with Manchester United tonight.

A 3-0 victory for Manchester United over Aston Villa stretched the Red Devils’ lead over city rivals Manchester City to an unassailable 16 points, meaning United could not be overhauled by last season’s winners.

Robin van Persie helped himself to a hat-trick as United cruised to a record 20th Premier League title.

Former Watford loanee Cleverley was an unused substitute for the occasion but has been a pivotal part of Sir Alex Ferguson’s last title-winning unit, making 16 league starts, scoring twice.

Young, whose season is already over due to injury, has been in and out of the side due to injury, making 17 Premier League starts without scoring for the Red Devils.

Congratulations to both Ashley and Tom from Vital Watford!
