Vital Watford was told by the club yesterday evening that season ticket renewals at the discounted ‘Earlybird’ rate had reached the 7,000 mark.

The ticket office has been taking orders for current season ticket holders to renew at a discounted rate since the end of the home match against Burnley on April 5.

If you’re a season ticket holder at Vicarage Road you have until after tomorrow’s home match against Ipswich to renew at the lower price.

Once everyone has been served after tomorrow’s game the ticket office will not be selling season tickets until Friday April 25, after a new set of prices are published.

A full list of prices for Earlybird renewals can be found here. The tickets have increased around three per cent on average on last year’s price.

As the Watford Observer reports, sales have averaged around 800 per day during this week, so Watford could be looking at around 8,500 season tickets having been renewed by the end of tomorrow`s matchday.

Watford have just over 12,000 current season ticket holders, a figure seen as a massive success given the size of the stadium, and having had a significantly lower number of season tickets sold in previous seasons.

If you’re a season ticket holder, don’t forget to renew before the prices go up!
