Watford youngster Jordan Parkes is looking to go back out on loan after getting only 13 minutes of action during a spell at Brentford.

The England U18 left back managed only 1 cameo appearance as a 77th minute sub in the Brentford`s 3-2 away win at Mansfield after joining the Bees during on a 10-match unbeaten run and with manager Andy Scott unwilling to change a successful side.

But Parkes was named in matchday squads against Notts County and Shrewsbury and will have surely benefited from first team squad experience – something that was not lost on Bees boss Scott, who told Sky Sports “His [Parkes] attitude was fantastic and he integrated very well into the squad. He was a pleasure to have around the place and a very good talent”.

Despite being earmarked as ‘hot property’ at Vicarage Road, Parkes will surely find it difficult to break into the Hornets first team after Aidy Boothroyd went out and signed the excellent Matt Sadler from Birmingham for £750K.
