The midfielder has joined the League One outfit hoping to gain more valuable first team experience and follows in the footsteps of fellow Hornet and French compatriot Hameur Bouazza, who spent three months with the Robins earlier in the season.

Although the Paris-born midfielder’s loan spell at the County Ground is for the rest of the season, as part of the deal, if Aidy Boothroyd wishes he can recall Diagouraga after twenty-eight days of his the deal.
