Devlin joins Walsall

Former Watford winger Paul Devlin, who was released by the club earlier in the week, has signed for League 1 outfit Walsall.

The Birmingham-born wide-man will be moving back to the Midlands. Devlin told Walsall’s official website ‘There were a few things to sort out with Watford but I made no secret of the fact that I wanted to move back closer to the Midlands.’

The former Scottish international could make his debut for Paul Merson’s men away at Chesterfield on Saturday.
