Former Scottish international Paul Devlin has left Watford by mutual consent.
The winger, who has enjoyed spells with Notts County, Sheffield Uinted and Birmingham City, is believed to be seeking a move back to the Midlands, with Coventry City and Walsall leading the race to capture the thirty-three.
Devlin told watfordfc.com ‘Although I am naturally disappointed to be leaving a team that is doing so well, I understand why the manager is pursuing a youth policy. It makes sense and it is delivering results.’
Since the arival of Chris Eagles, who is on-loan from Manchester United, Devlin has fallen down the pecking order for the right-wing berth.
