It is hoped there will be confirmation of whether or not Watford against Huddersfield Town will go ahead at 9am on Saturday.

After a meeting between officials from both Watford and Huddersfield, it has been decided that a decision will take place at 9am on the day of the game to determine whether or not the fixture will go ahead.

With Huddersfield Town supporters coaches due to leave Yorkshire at 9:30am, the decision has been taken with the aim of preventing as many Town fans travelling unnecessarily as possible.

A decision is expected to be reached at around 9am and will be communicated via Watford’s Official Site and the club’s official Twitter feed – @watfordfcsays.

On top of that, Vital Watford (@VitalWatford) will work to bring you confirmation of the news as soon as possible.

The club have also Tweeted a request for help clearing the pitch ahead of the game, if the game is given the go-ahead in the morning:

‏@watfordfcsays ‘Help from #watfordfc fans (+ shovel if poss!) welcome if game gets green light. Standby for message 2moro [tomorrow sic.] morning around 0910.’

Fingers crossed!
