Someone needs to tell Watford striker Tamas Priskin that he really isn`t anywhere near as good as he thinks he is, after the Hungarian misfit turned down a loan move to Crewe.

It appears that Aidy Boothroyd wanted Priskin to go out on short-term loan with the Gresty Road outfit to get some games under his belt but the inflated ego of the East European youngster thought better of it – choosing instead to sit it out in the Watford wilderness as the Hornets 5th choice striker.

And it`s not gone down well with Crewe gaffer Steve Holland either. He told the ThisisStaffordshire website ‘You`d think players would want to be playing, but that doesn`t appear to be the case these days.’

Holland added ‘Watford wanted Priskin to come and thought it would be terrific for him but he doesn`t want to go down to League One’.

Priskin really needs his head looking at! He`s lost his place in the Hungarian national squad, has only managed to start 7 games this season (despite the sale of hitman Marlon King to Wigan) and now sits behind Collins John, Nathan Ellington, Darius Henderson and even centre back Danny Shittu on Aidy Boothroyds select list of frontman.

There ain`t nothing wrong with life in Division 1 Tamas?it`s far better than not making a matchday squad and playing the off Pontins league game with the stiffs.
