Striker Odion Ighalo is once more being linked with a move to the Chinese Super League.

With failed attempts over the summer from Hebei Fortune China and Shanghai SIPG’s £37.5million offer also not making a move happen, he is now being linked with Shanghai Shenhua despite him signing a new long term deal.

Shenhua are managed by former Brighton manager Gus Poyet and they, according to Sky Sports, want to team up our former with the highest paid player in the game Carlos Tevez who is said to be on £600,000 a week.

Ridiculously stupid money.

With Ighalo not wanting a Chinese move despite the money previously, it remains to be seen after his struggles in front of goal this year whether or not he’d fancy a change of scenery and with only two goals in 18 appearances and his drop off from former years, whether a similar £37million sum would see Watford tempted is also a question.
