Craig Cathcart not only bagged himself a goal for Northern Ireland last week in a one-all draw with Wales he was involved against Slovenia on Monday when a national record was set.

Cathcart, who should be part of the squad going to the European Championships (but isn’t likely to be joined by Watford teammate Troy Deeney who doesn’t appear eligible for Northern Ireland, he still wants to play for England though), played the full 90-minutes of the one-nil win over Slovenia on Monday with that a 10th-match unbeaten for Northern Ireland.

A national record the Hornets defender is now part of in the record books!

Chelsea loanee Nathan Ake, who would appear is keen on returning to his parent club in the summer in the hopes of making a breakthrough at Stamford Bridge, was again in action for Holland at U21 level Watford back up ‘keeper Costel Pantilimon unused by Romania in a draw with Spain.

We’re close to seeing all our players returning to the club as focus reverts back to the Premier League – we’ll hope all return full fit, well and ready for action!
