Northern Irish international Michael Bryan has linked up with League One Bournemouth on trial, the BBC has revealed.

The diminutive 21 year-old spent the first-half of the season on-loan with Bradford City but failed to make much impact after the appointment of Phil Parkinson.

Bryan returned to Watford on January 11 but has quickly moved out again to link-up with the Cherries for a trial period.

The former Queens Park Rangers youngster played in the reserves 3-2 win over Torquay on Tuesday and impressed reserve boss, Ryan Garry.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Garry said:

‘Michael is a young lad who played 80 minutes and played very well. He will be with us for the next few days.

‘He was training with the first-team squad at Canford on Tuesday and the manager [Lee Bradbury] is taking a close look at him.’

Good luck Michael!
