Boreham Wood-Watford: Starting XI

Watford kick off pre-season 2011/12 with their traditional friendly against near-neighbors Boreham Wood this afternoon.

Sean Dyche’s first-ever starting 11 is a complete mixed bag with academy starlets Jonathan Bond, Aaron Tumwa and Gavin Massey all starting.

The reason for Scott Loach’s absence is ‘unknown’ according to the Observer Owl on Twitter, who broke the team news which is as follows:

Starting XI: Bond; Doyley, Mariappa, Mirfin, Tumwa; Bryan, Murray, Eustace, Forsyth; Massey and Sordell.

Subs: Gilmartin (GK), Hoban, Oshodi, Bennett, Isaac, Jenkins, Walker, Mingoia, Assombalonga, Deeney.
