Defender Dale Bennett has today (Friday) extended his loan deal at Wimbledon by a further month.

The Hornet’s young centre-back has spent the previous month with the south London outfit, making five starts for the Dons.

During that period the club’s manager Terry Brown was sacked with Simon Bassey placed in charge in the mean time.

Bennett, 22, will now spend a further month with the struggling League Two outfit.

Bassey has been given the green light to extend the loan deals of several players, with Curtis Haynes-Brown and George Francomb also extending their temporary deals at Kingsmeadow.

Good luck Dale!
