In a massive u-turn, owner Laurence Bassini has this morning declared that he is ‘re-considering his resignation’.
The Stanmore-based businessman released a statement on the Official Site, to confirm his latest intentions:
‘I will continue to fund the club.
‘I’ve spoken to both David and Stuart and I have listened carefully to their views on this week and the club in general.
‘I really like the club, Watford has really got into my blood, and I’m not going to let anything bad happen.
‘So my funding will continue while we look to resolve other matters.’
Bassini has also stated that he will be on BBC 3CR on Tuesday November 22 for a live Q&A session.
