Al Bangura, fast becoming the bad boy of Vicarage Road has had his latest mistermeiner dealt with.

The now Sierra Leone international international recently left to join up with his national side in the 4-1 defeat to Nigeria. Having not been given permission to join up with his national side by Aidy Boothroyd, Bangura could’ve expected the book to have been thrown at him on his return.

On the contrary, the gaffer has confirmed a line has been drawn under the whole affair after clear-the-air-talks:

‘I sat down and had a chat with Al and it has been dealt with internally.

‘As far as I’m concerned that is the end of it. He’s a young man who has made a mistake.

‘We won’t hit him over the head with it but I hope he won’t do it again.’

Of course, naughty Al was sent home from the club’s pre-season training camp after last years immigration fight was followed by scandal speculation in the News of the World surrounding a former partner.

Three strikes and you’re out? Or three strikers and you’re out!
