Goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has spoken of his happiness at Watford under head coach Quique Sanchez Flores.

With the regular number one and double penalty save heroics behind him in the match against West Bromwich Albion – having saved two Premier League penalties in two games now to hand himself a record – it’s widely expected that Flores will again switch the pack between the sticks and bring in more recent signing Costel Pantilimon.

Pantilimon has of course played the last three FA Cup games for the club, and we are now gearing up for Wembley on Sunday and Crystal Palace in the semi final.

That doesn’t bother Gomes though, he’s spoken of being ready to play if asked, or alternatively, happy to support his fellow stopper if he again gets the nod.
