Not only do Watford return to the Premier League this season but so too does Heurelho Gomes, and ahead of the new campaign he’s said the club and himself are ready to make this step up.
Watford return to the topflight against Everton this weekend with former Spurs ‘keeper Gomes of the opinion he’s ‘back to his best.’

Playing at Premier League level is where Gomes also feels he belongs and under the latest managerial appointment at Vicarage Road, Quique Sánchez Flores, the Brazilian international believes the Hornets can surprise a few people with the squad good enough to stay up.
Later on in this audio clip we also hear summer signing Sebastian Prödl speaking too (from around 1minute 12 onwards) about his hopes for the season with ‘staying in the league’ of course the first target, which he feels can be achieved.
